Web Transfer Client
The Web Transfer Client (WTC) is a browser-based interface that allows partners to connect over HTTPS and securely upload, download, and manage files through any web browser.
Instead of exposing the underlying filesystem, WTC presents a virtual, configurable view of folders and files. What each user can see and do is controlled by the UDMG configuration (Domains, Endpoints, Pipelines, and Account permissions).
This page provides a high-level overview of WTC and links to the main topics that describe how to set it up and use it.
Key Documentation for Administrators
The following pages are primarily aimed at UDMG administrators responsible for configuring WTC:
- Setting Up Web Transfer Client: Explains how to enable the WTC service, configure it in the UDMG Server Configuration File, and connect it to Endpoints and Pipelines.
- WTC Permissions: Describes how WTC permissions are derived from UDMG configuration and how they affect what actions users can perform (upload, download, delete, create folders, and more).
- Customizing the WTC User Interface: Describes how to customize elements in the UI, such as the System Identifier Label and the company logo.
