Database Management Systems
UDMG supports the following relational database management systems for storing configuration and operational data.
The table below outlines the supported database management systems, required versions, and the corresponding configuration argument values (these values must be set in the UDMG Configuration File using the database.engine argument).
| System | Version | HCL Argument Value |
|---|---|---|
| MySQL | 8.0 | mysql |
| Oracle | 21c, 19c | oracle |
| Microsoft SQL Server | 2017 or later | sqlserver |
| PostgreSQL | 14 or later | postgresql |
Databases compatible with the supported management systems listed above are also supported. For example, AWS RDS (MySQL), MariaDB (MySQL), and Azure Database for MySQL. We recommend periodically reviewing the database documentation for potential incompatibilities or feature differences, as these may change over time.
