Shared Files Dashboard
Every time a file is shared in the Web Transfer Client, a Record called Shared File is created to track the status of the shareable link. UDMG Users can monitor shared links on the Shared Files Dashboard, which includes all the shared links within the Domain.
Viewing the Shared Files Dashboard
To view the Shared Files Dashboard, click Monitoring > Shared Files from the Sidebar. Here you can view a table of Shared Files Records.
The Shared Files table automatically refreshes every 10 seconds. You can also manually refresh the table at any time with the Refresh button in the top-right corner.
There are various ways to customize your view of the Shared Files table. As with any Record Table, you can toggle which columns are displayed by clicking the Columns button above the list (see Selecting Columns). You can further customize how the Shared Files table is displayed through Sorting and Searching, detailed below.
Sorting
By default, the Shared Files list is sorted in descending order by the Shared date. As with any Record Table, you can sort by a different field by clicking any column header.
Searching
UDMG displays up to 80,000 of the most recent Shared Files Records on the Shared Files Dashboard at once.
You can filter Shared Files Records by using the free text functionality of the Search bar. When you type plain text in the search bar, it searches for matching values in the following columns:
- Filename
- Path
- Account
- Shared Link
- Message
- Expires
- Shared
The Search only applies to Records that are currently in the table (across all pages). For example, if 1,000 Shared Files Records have been returned, then the Search bar searches these 1,000 Records.
You can also search using a column name and value pair. To search, prefix your search value with [Column Key]::[Value]. For example, searching downloadCount::0 returns only links that haven't been downloaded yet.
For a list of available Column Keys and their corresponding columns, see the table below:
| Column Key | Column |
|---|---|
filename | Filename |
path | Path |
sender | Account |
isActive | Status |
shareLink | SharedLink |
downloadCount | Downloads |
maxDownloads | Max Downloads |
size | Size |
message | Message |
isPasswordProtected | Password Protected |
expiresAt | Expires |
sharedAt | Shared |
The isActive column indicates whether the shared link has been revoked. So isActive::true returns links with status Active, Expired, or Completed.
