SERVICE_NAME - UBROKER configuration option

Description

The SERVICE_NAME option specifies the name used to register the Universal Broker service to the Windows Service Control Manager (SCM). The value specified for the SERVCE_NAME option is also used to control the service when executing sc.exe from the Windows command shell.

This option should only be specified for user mode installs. The configured value is added to the ubrsvc.bat script, which is created by the user mode install and is used to manage the service created by that install.

For system installs (i.e., those done with the Windows Installer-based package), leave this value undefined.

Always specify a corresponding SERVICE_MSG_SOURCE value whenever setting this option.

Values

name is the name the Universal Broker service.

Default is UBrokerService.
