Robi AI 2.0.0 Release Notes
Robi AI release 2.0.0 (shipped with UAC 8.1.0.0) contains the following high-level features. For a complete list of all the included features and fixes, please refer to the Robi AI 2.0.x Maintenance list.
We recommend using Robi AI 2.0.0 with UAC 8.1 to get access to the full feature sets of both products. See Robi AI Installation Procedure - Compatibility

B-24529 | Async Chat / Analyze with Activity Indicator | While Robi is processing a request in Assistant or Analyze mode, an activity indicator now appears showing its current status, displaying Thinking... when processing the query and Executing <tool name>... when a specific tool or subagent is running. The indicator clears when the response is ready. |
B-24552 | Subagents - Task Creation | Robi can now create tasks using task-type-specific subagents. Describe the task you want in natural language; Robi delegates to the appropriate subagent for that task type, assembles the full task definition, and presents it for your approval before writing anything to the Controller. Enabled by default for Timer, Manual, Windows, Linux/Unix, IBM i, and SAP task types. See AI Configuration for subagent configuration options, where you can also enable other experimental task creation subagents. |
B-24581* | Documentation Embedding / Retrieval Improvements | Robi's documentation retrieval has been substantially improved so that answers are drawn from complete, on-topic sections of the Universal Automation Center documentation rather than scattered fragments. Documentation is now embedded with heading-aware chunking that preserves each page's structure, and at query time the relevant sections are reassembled in full before Robi composes its answer. Retrieval has also been broadened so that borderline-but-relevant content surfaces, and Robi no longer replies with an unhelpful "I don't know" when the answer is present in the documentation, or when it is a non-product but relevant question the model can answer on its own without documentation (D-15834). The embeddings ship refreshed against the Universal Automation Center 8.1 documentation. |
